Racha Ernest is an Egyptian girl of 26. 8 years ago she fell off a train and was caught between the rails. After months of suffering in hospital, her both legs were amputated. She then went to Germany for rehabilitation, thanks to support of a local church but finally came back, not walking on prosthetics but in a wheelchair. Before the accident she always wanted to finish her studies and then enter some convent, but now, being handicapped, nobody accepts her. No problem, Racha lives her own mission in helping children and youth during camps and counseling, she has a strong faith that God does everything well in His time. She’s on a 20 day visit in Lebanon and of course met with Deir Khafi or the “Hidden monastery”, she stays with Randa at home where everything is accessible. Last week she gave her testimony at church:  a simple story of love and faith, of struggle and happiness.

Here she is with Father Jean-Marie and Therese asking a question.
